BROWSER INSTRUMENT / WAVE TERRAIN + MOTION FIELD

Play the surface.
Deform the sound.

A polyphonic experimental synth whose notes orbit a two-dimensional sound terrain. Play it with keys, touch, MIDI, or let local webcam motion bend the terrain around you.

Wildness multiplies camera depth beyond the normal range. Fast movement now drives multiple sound dimensions at once. Chaos adds short movement-triggered terrain mutations; turn Wildness down for the original gentler feel.

QUICK START

Make sound in seconds.

  1. Press Start audio.
  2. Play A S D F… and Q W E R…, or use the colorful note buttons.
  3. Drag the big terrain surface. You are changing the geometry being scanned by every voice.
  4. Try Rift, Smear, Crush, and Void. The center position is off; moving left and right selects different effect character as intensity increases.
  5. Try Shape mode for interval/chord gestures or Drone mode for evolving layers.
  6. Optional: connect MIDI, then double-click any synth slider and move a controller to MIDI-learn it.
  7. Optional: start the webcam Motion Field. Raise Wildness for aggressive multi-parameter deformation, enable Pitch motion to bend notes with movement, and arm Chaos bursts for motion-triggered mutations.

Browser note: Web MIDI support varies. Keyboard, pointer and touch controls remain available without MIDI.
